Day of the Tentacle Trailer (500kb)
This is an MP3 that I made for Imuse Island. It was never uploaded though, as the site had been taken offline during the Mixnmojo server move before I'd finished it. It plays like a movie trailer... just without the actual movie. We've all seen adverts for new movies, right? Well, image one of those, for Day of the Tentacle, but you can't see the TV. Its just the music and speech from the trailer, if you follow.

Depressing Monkey Island (614kb)
I made this mp3 from the Monkey Island theme. It's nothing clever, just a bit of audio editing (I used the EMI intro as a basis.) You really have to be sure you're not angry before you download this, because you might really hate it or think its rubbish. Sorry in advance, then.

Loom Winamp Skin (207kb)
This is a Winamp skin I made, which is of the Loom box art. To install, simply run the 'wsz' file, and it will install itself to the skin directory. For those who don't know, 'wsz' is exactly the same as 'zip', but Winamp recognises 'wsz' as a file extension and installs the skin by itself, saving you time.

Green T and the Sushi Platter (212kb)
This is one you'll either love or hate. It's simply an edited version of the MIDI of the same name, but I beefed it up and added background noise to make it sound like it was being being performed by some heavy metal mosher type band. Head-banging.

South American Monkey Island (732kb)
Another MP3 made from editing a MIDI. It sounds quite good, especially the start. I think it sounds very native South American, like Amazon type stuff. It uses the Monkey Island 2 intro as the basis. See what you think.

Rum Rogers (416kb)
This is quite cool, its just a really bass-y version of the Rum Rogers theme from Monkey Island 2: LeChucks revenge.

Other Game Trailers
What I really want to do is make full video trailers for all the LucasArts games. I know that LucasArts themselves have already made trailers for a lot of games, but all the ones before the CD era are little more than slideshows of screenshots from the game. I know that on the Day of the Tentacle (and other) CD's there were trailers with speech, like Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, but again, that was only a scene from the game. Sam & Max was probably the first game to have what I would call a proper trailer, but it was an executable, and it wasn't until The Curse of Monkey Island that true video trailers appeared. I want to make proper video trailers for all the old games, like Loom and The Secret of Monkey Island. The trailers should treat the games like they are films, and show scenes, have music and dialog, and really make people want to play the games. Why do I want to do this? Because I think it would be cool. It is, however, slightly beyond my expertise. I have made an audio trailer for Day of the Tentacle (see above), but it would rock if it had the video as well. I know that a lot of you are more than capable of making some really fantastic videos, so if you like the sound of this project let me know. Who knows, if enough interest is generated it could even get its own site.
